The Loan Process

Once you select Professional Mortgage Partners, Inc. to obtain your home loan, you'll be amazed at how quickly and simply the loan process moves. Before you know it, you'll have a mortgage that suits your lifestyle and saves you money.

To complete the pre-approval step, click on the Get Pre-Approval letter button. You'll need to supply some brief information about employment, assets, etc. We'll contact you for authorization to obtain your credit report. Once we've reviewed this information, we'll issue your Pre-Approval Letter, which gives you the clout of an "all-cash" buyer. As you begin looking for a home, we'll begin looking for the best loan to meet your specific needs. Your Real Estate Agent will use your Pre-Approval Letter to negotiate the best deal for you.

Important Note: Do not allow anyone to obtain free credit reports for you. Doing so may lower your Credit Risk Score, and these reports will have to be obtained later anyway! This score is extremely important to your overall credit evaluation in the underwriting process for your mortgage loan.

When you've selected a property and have a contract with the Seller, the next step is to complete your loan application, which can be done easily through our website, or via email. To apply online, simply click Apply for a Loan to start your application. Your loan officer will review the online application and submit the loan to processing. Documents that require signatures can be emailed, overnight mailed or signed in our office.

Your loan officer will provide you with a password for PMPLoanStatus.com, so you can view your loan details 24-hours a day, 7-days a week online. Not only will you know when important closing documents are processed (like the appraisal), but you'll have easy access to contact all of the parties involved in your closing (Realtors, Title companies, and your Loan Officer).

Once your loan is approved, one of our closers will contact you to help schedule the closing, verify your closing costs with the title company, and address any additional questions or concerns before closing. The closing is generally held at the title company's office, or a real estate attorney's office.
